About The Project

Project P://SHIFT is an attempt to increase the efficacy of introductory programming courses. It is our hypothesis that the cognitive-affective states of learners have impacts on their learning and that such states can be enhanced using multimedia-based learning activities.

The project is currently formed of four objectives:

- Identify Cognitive-Affective Impacts
- Develop Relevant Psychometric Tools
- Prototype Learning Activities
- Test and Evaluate Learning Activities
